CPC Queens Community Services Hosts AAPI Heritage Month Virtual Town Hall

On May 27th, CPC gathered a panel of elected officials and community leaders to discuss the intersections of COVID-19, anti-Asian hate, and their impacts on the Asian American community. The virtual event featured Congresswoman Grace Meng of the 6th Congressional District of New York, State Assemblymember Yuh-Line Niou, of the 65th Assembly District of New York, Flora Ferng, of the New York City Commission on Human Rights, L Tantay and Alex Gomez, of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Christopher Kuo, of CPC's Leadership Council, and Mitch Wu, Director of CPC Queens Community Services.

The event was co-sponsored by CPC and Spectrum.
