CPC Urges Essential Community Funding at 8th Annual City Advocacy Day

On April 22nd, CPC held a community rally in Sunset Park for our 8th Annual City Advocacy Day. Over 600 staff, community members, and elected officials gathered at Our Lady of Perpetual Hope in Sunset Park to advocate for budget priorities that address the needs of Asian American, immigrant, and low-income New Yorkers.

CPC Homecrest Students Win NYC Water Resources Art & Poetry Contest

On April 30th, students from CPC Homecrest’s School Age Child Care (SACC) Program at PS 153 were honored as one of the winners of the NYC Department of Environmental Protection’s Water Resources Art & Poetry Contest. They joined fellow citywide winners for a special celebration at the Helen Marshall Cultural Center. These students impressed the judges with a creative and impactful video exploring the importance of water and the critical need for conservation. Their submission demonstrated a clear understanding of New York City’s water resources and the role we all play in protecting them.
