Founded in 1972, CPC's Open Door Senior Center provides essential programs benefiting our older adult community through social services, nutritious meals, education, and recreation in a safe and welcoming space. The Center, located in a historic, landmarked building in Chinatown, serves more than 600 members ages 60 and above daily.

The activities and workshops offered at CPC Open Door promote an active and healthy lifestyle for older adults, assisting them emotionally, mentally, and physically. CPC Open Door's case management provides one-on-one assistance in benefits and entitlements, translation services, and social support for community members and their families. Mental health supports combat isolation and other mental health issues. Our program provides healthy and balanced daily meals for older adults, which meets Department for the Aging’s (DFTA) nutritional requirements. Open Door is also a provider of Meals on Wheels, where we prepare and deliver meals to hundreds of homebound older adults seven days a week.
