Council Member Crystal Hudson introduced a resolution in support of #FairPay4HomeCare! The resolution calls for minimum wages for home care aids through the funding and approval of the state's funding of the Fair Pay for Home Care act. The act also requires at least 150% of the minimum wage for home care aids, or other set minimum, and sets regional minimum rates of reimbursement under Medicaid and managed care plans.

Thank you to Comptroller Brad Lander, Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine, and Council Members Carmen de la Rosa and Alexa Aviles for their support! CPC Home Attendant Program workers joined the Caring Majority, LiveOn NY, United Neighborhood Houses, and other nonprofit home care agencies to call for its swift passage!
