On May 10th, CPC Brooklyn Community Center hosted a grand opening to celebrate the opening of Brooklyn Older Adult Center. From congregate meals, to educational and recreational activities, as well as case assistance services and engaging initiatives, this center is set to become a transformative hub, offering a wide range of essential services and programs designed to enhance the well-being and elevate the quality of life for older adults.

While the center has already been serving the community for over a year, this special occasion provided an opportunity to express gratitude for the support received throughout the journey.

Various elected officials and partners joined CPC at the grand opening event, including representatives from the Congressman Dan Goldman, State Senator Andrew Gounardes and State Senator Iwen Chu, Public Advocate Jumaane D. Williams, Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, Council Member Alexa Avilés, NYC Department for the Aging, Center for the Study of Asian American Health, EmblemHealth, Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, and many others.
