CPC joined the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities on a new campaign to combat discrimination and stigma faced by individuals with developmental disabilities. Among the inspiring stars featured in the "Look Beyond My Developmental Disability" campaign is CPC's Respite Coordinator, Jessica Hsieh. Our Queens and Brooklyn Special Needs programs also played an important role in shaping the initiative through meaningful focus group discussions.

"I felt so proud to represent my community and to prove that anything is possible. I do not let my challenges define me or restrict me from achieving my goals in life. By participating in this campaign, I felt so included and seen with everything I have accomplished all on my own," said Jessica Hsieh.

CPC's Queens & Brooklyn Special Needs program also played an important role in shaping this initiative through meaningful focus group discussions and fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates the unique abilities of all individuals.
