On July 9th, CPC teamed up with the Brooklyn Cyclones for a special AAPI Heritage Celebration at Maimonides Park. The event honored the heritage, resilience, and contributions of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. It brought together diverse community members to celebrate AAPI culture through an exciting baseball game and performances, including lion dances, a Kung Fu Fan Dance, and delicious Asian cuisine. Mitch Wu, CPC Director of Queens Community Services, joined other community leaders in throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.
