CPC Hosts Annual Health & Resource Fair Focused on Community Wellness

On September 13th, CPC Brooklyn Community Services held a Health & Family Resource Fair at Leif Ericson Park, serving over 1,000 community members. The event emphasized prevention as the first line of defense for staying healthy, especially as families face the pressures of a rising cost of living. To alleviate this burden, community partners provided resources including children’s books, backpack giveaways, vaccine shots, fresh produce, and raffle prizes. The day also featured cultural and wellness activities such as Taichi, Taekwondo, and dance performances.
The event was supported by elected officials and community leaders. Attendees included Senator Stephen Chan, Assemblymember Lester Chang, Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, Council Member Susan Zhuang, and Executive Director of the Mayor's Office of Community Mental Health Eva Wong.
