CPC Advocates for Inclusive Policy at 2025 SOMOS Conference in Puerto Rico

From November 5th to 9th, CPC joined leaders from across New York and Puerto Rico at the 2025 SOMOS Conference to discuss equitable public policy, build cross-cultural coalitions, and uplift AAPI, Latinx, and all marginalized communities.

A key highlight was CPC co-hosting the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Reception with the New York State Assembly APA Taskforce and over 40 partner organizations. The event united advocates to strengthen alliances and celebrate shared policy goals.

During the conference, CPC President and CEO Wayne Ho spoke as a panelist in two workshops. He discussed strategies to secure equitable futures for the human services workforce and explored ways to shape inclusive data, AI tools, and policies that center marginalized communities.
