Mary Cheng Recognized Among Manhattan’s Most Powerful Women

On December 3rd, Mary Cheng, Director of Childhood Development Services, was honored by Schneps Media as a 2025 Power Woman of Manhattan. The award recognizes her leadership in education and commitment to empowering the community. Mary's story embodies CPC's mission: she began as a young student in our programs, returned as a teacher, and now leads five early childhood centers and eight school-age programs.
Beyond CPC, she also serves as Vice-President of CSA’s Asian American Association and has been honored with the PASEsetter Award and the Day Care Council’s Unsung Hero Award.
