CPC Hosts Winter Festival for Over 400 Special Needs Participants and Families

On December 13th, CPC hosted a Special Needs Winter Festival at our Queens Community Center. The event brought together more than 400 participants, including individuals with developmental disabilities and their caregivers, for a day of fun and support. Attendees enjoyed a variety of festive activities, including arts and crafts, a photo booth, and karaoke. Beyond the festivities, the festival served to connect families with information and support networks.

The initiative addressed systemic challenges in accessing essential services—such as home care, transportation support, and public benefits—which are common obstacles for this community.
