CPC Beacon Community Center Students Celebrate Lunar New Year with Creative Arts and Toys

On February 13th, CPC Beacon Community Center at John J. Pershing Intermediate School 220 hosted a Lunar New Year celebration for students, where they enjoyed delicious food, spent meaningful time with friends, and fully embraced the spirit of community.

From detailed origami designs to colorful arts and crafts and impressive 3D figures representing Lunar New Year traditions, students brought culture to life through their hands and imagination.

Thanks to generous donations from CVS, CPC also distributed 100 plushies, toys, and animated hats to students,
