CPC Summer Rising Program Combines Education and Fun for NYC Youth

CPC’s Childhood Development Services recently concluded the Summer Rising program, which provided children across New York City a mix of educational and recreational activities designed to support their academic, social, and emotional growth. They enjoyed a diverse lineup of activities including STEM projects, hands-on science experiments, reading groups, and arts and crafts. CPC Lois C. Lee Early Childhood Center, in particular, featured weekly themed events such as Ocean Life Fridays, where young chefs made snacks like “Fish in the Sea” graham crackers and engaged in water play.
