Open Door Appreciation Gala: Celebration of Older Americans Month, Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, and Parents Appreciation
May 22nd, Tuesday, at 5:30 - 9:00 PM
Jing Fong Restaurant, 20 Elizabeth Street, New York, NY 10013
This event requires prior ticket purchase. Tickets for Senior Center members are $20 and non-members are $30. Members over the age of 90 are free to attend and must be accompanied by a family member/friend. RSVP deadline is May 16th.
Program includes:
- Performances from Open Door's Chorus and Dance Troupe
- Collaboration Project with Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and 2018 SU-CASA artist, Lucy Sexton titled "Moving Stories"
- Moving Stories: Senior members will use movements and tell their stories of their life experiences and growing up.
Awards will be given to Honorees and members over the age of 100 years old.
