CPC was recently welcomed to Brooklyn Community Foundation’s Immigrant Rights Fund and awarded a $20,000 grant to support Advancing Our CommUNITY, CPC’s campaign to promote social and economic empowerment of Asian American, immigrant, and low-income communities. With this grant, CPC will expand our civic engagement, policy advocacy, and community mobilization efforts in Brooklyn through our newly created Policy and Public Affairs Division and CPC Brooklyn Community Center. With our diverse array of social services coupled with our expanded civic engagement, policy advocacy, and community mobilization initiatives, CPC aims to build the power of our Brooklyn communities.

“CPC is grateful for the support of the Brooklyn Community Foundation,” said Steve Mei, Director of CPC Brooklyn Community Services. “Brooklyn has the fastest growing Asian American community, and CPC is excited to expand our social services and civic engagement efforts to match our community’s growth. With this grant, we will be able to educate and empower our community members to effect change in their neighborhoods and throughout the borough.”
