CPC Quoted in Politico Article on NYC's Budget Crisis

CPC President and CEO Wayne Ho was quoted in an article from Politico (paywall) about the city's struggle to address a significant budget shortfall. Mr. Ho's statements articulated disappointment about the lack of concern for the city's contracted nonprofit human services providers. Providers have faced significant cuts to contracts this year as well as cuts to promised back payments for costs already incurred.
“I don’t want anyone to lose their jobs, but it’s hard to hear [City officials] are worried about 22,000 municipal workers when, having cut contracts and payments to vendors, you are basically telling the nonprofit sector you’re ok with laying off our workforce,” Ho said.
