CPC and Partners Unite for Sunset Park Block Party for Families

On October 4th, CPC co-hosted a community block party in Sunset Park with Harvest Share and local partners. Centered on the theme of "Fostering Community Resilience," the event welcomed all residents with resource fairs, food giveaways, family-friendly face painting, and cultural performances—including a special showcase from a dancing group of our Brooklyn Older Adult Center. Local representatives including New York State Senator Stephen Chan and New York City Council Member Alexa Avilés supported and delivered remarks in support of the Sunset Park community.
