CPC Queens Nan Shan Senior Center Celebrates 30th Anniversary

On May 24th, 2018, CPC celebrated the 30th anniversary of Queens Nan Shan Senior Center at New Mulan Restaurant. For the past 30 years, the Queen’s Nan Shan Senior Center has served over thousands of seniors in the community.

CPC's Inaugural APA Heritage Month Panel

May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and also marks the 53rd birthday of CPC. In honor of these two events, CPC has convened a panel on Tuesday May 29th, 2018 to discuss some of the urgent issues facing our community in the current political climate.

Fighting Stigma at AIDS Walk 2018 in Central Park

In an effort to break the silence of HIV/AIDS in the API community and encourage people through education to get tested, CPC's HIV/AIDS Services gathered CPC Youth participants to design posters and customize T-shirts that they wore at the AIDS Walk New York 2018 that took place last Sunday, May 20th.

CPC Staff Meets With Over 20 City Council Members to Advocate for Asian American and Immigrant Communities

On May 17, 2018, CPC held its first ever City Advocacy Day.  As the nation's largest Asian American social services agency, CPC used the day to highlight key issues and FY19 city budget priorities for Chinese Americans, immigrants, low-income communities, and communities of color.
