CPC Tribeca Early Childhood Learning Center Achieve 4-Star Rating

The CPC Tribeca Early Childhood Learning Center has achieved a 4-Star Rating from QUALITYstarsNY, New York State's quality assessment system for early education programs. The evaluation examines multiple quality indicators including the children’s learning environment, family engagement, management and leadership, and staff qualifications and experience. This recognition assures parents that the center delivers high-quality learning experiences and provides a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that supports children's growth.

CPC's Queens AAPI Heritage Month Benefit Celebrates Community Leadership and Creates Pathways to Success

On May 28th, CPC hosted the annual Queens Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month Benefit at Terrace on the Park in Flushing. The gala was joined by over 400 philanthropic, corporate, government, and community leaders and celebrated growing leadership within the AAPI community and raised funds to support CPC’s programs serving 20,000 Queens residents. The evening’s program featured a lion dance performance, testimonials from Queens residents whose lives had been transformed through CPC's services, and a special performance by the Joyous String Ensemble.

CPC Community Member Appointed to the NYS Council on Developmental Disabilities

On May 11th and 13th, Sing Tao Daily and World Journal published an article about Yulin Huang, a member of CPC's Special Needs Program, who was appointed to the New York State Council on Developmental Disabilities (CDD) Advisory Committee. Huang is the first Chinese American with a disability to hold this position. Her journey began when her mother sought support from CPC to access resources for her daughter with special needs. Through CPC-led initiatives, including English literacy classes and advocacy programs, Huang and her family not only acquired essential skills and support but also became active leaders dedicated to empowering other immigrant families facing similar challenges.

CPC Brooklyn OAC Hosts Fun Mother's Day Celebration

On May 12th, the CPC Brooklyn Older Adult Center celebrated Mother's Day with over 150 community members on a fun day trip to Cold Spring. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful scenery and nice weather. The celebration continued with a buffet at a local restaurant, where families and friends came together to share laughter and create memories.
